Former Pakistan captain, Zaheer Abbas believes India to be the favourites for the much-anticipated match between the Subcontinent giants in Mohali tomorrow.
“India are the favourites because they are playing at home and given of their batting strength. They can challenge any team,” claimed the cricket veteran.
The batting legend applauded India’s batting line-up. He said the team’s batting prowess can compensate for their bowling weaknesses. Speaking of Pakistan’s game play, he criticised the team for its ‘inexperience’.
"Pakistan's minus point is their inexperience. Yes, they are playing well and they are playing as a unit. If they can do that, they can overcome any obstacle. But http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 are such a big team and have so much weight. I will be happy if Pakistan wins, but it
will be a little difficult for them," Abbas observed.

Speaking of their winning attitude, he added the Pakistan team wants to prove the world that they are not inferior to any of the cricket playing nations.
The former skipper had a star studded career with a total score of 5062 runs in 78 test matches at a remarkable average of 44.79. His average increased two folds when he contested India with 1740 runs in 19 Test games at an average of 87.00 back in 1978-79.
He smashed a world record with a count of 583 runs including scores of 176, 96 and 235 in consecutive innings in three test series.
Regarding the meeting of the neighbouring Prime Ministers, Abbas said the gesture will open new avenues for Pakistan-India cricket in the future.
