Former Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink believes Jose Mourinho should apologise to Barcelona
Former Chelsea manager, Guus Hiddink, has criticised Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, for his war of words against Barcelona and believes that the Portuguese must apologise to the Catalans.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605 beat Madrid 2-0 in the first of the two-legged semifinals of the UEFA Champions League on April, 27th, 2011. Mourinho blamed UEFA referees for a conspiracy to see Barcelona qualifying in the final of UEFA Champions League 2010-11.
Mourinho also stated that Pep Guardiola’s men would not have won the Champions League in 2008/09 campaign, had they not beaten Chelsea under controversial circumstances.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786’s manager at that time, Hiddink, believes that the Portuguese tactician has gone too far with his comments and he is trying to divert attention away from his team’s poor performance.
Talking to the reporters Hiddink said, “Mourinho has gone too far, with all his critical remarks he wants to divert the attention from the way he made his team played. Before I knew it, he [Mourinho] got me involved. Jose compared the Real - Barca game with the Chelsea – Barca semi-final in 2009 when I was manager at Stamford Bridge. We missed out on the final, too.”
“But the big difference is that we did not moan about conspiracies. I don’t agree with Mourinho at all on this,” added the Turkish national team manager
The Russian added that his team also had a lot of decisions going against them in that game but the only difference was that he did not complain about them or start blaming others for his team's loss.
Mourinho is considered to be a big moaner whenever his team has been on the losing side. The Portuguese never accepts his team’s defeat and always whines about things going against his side. Even several of Madrid’s former player’s have referred to him as a ‘shame’ for the club after his negative antics.
Hiddink added that former the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan manager should watch the videos of the game again and apologize for his words and if he does not do that, than he is deliberately trying to cover for his own incapabilities.
