to coach the NBA’s Asia Pacific team camp.
Horace further said,
“I don't know that much [about Australia], it's my first visit, Players from each country who got selected, very fortunate to have this opportunity to be in a camp. The NBA is so global right now; it's huge for these kids to be
in a place like Australia and learning not just basketball but also motivational life skills, leadership, good character and teamwork.”
Grant was retired from basketball in 2004 but he still manages himself to involve in different basketball related activities. Speaking to the media he also mentioned as he had been very lucky in his whole career. He said I always
tried to play as team-player and that is the true secret to sustain in the biggest basketball league in the world for a long period of time.
He said, “I always put the team first and myself last and that is why I played as long as I did. I got 17 years in the league because I always put the team first.”
Horace Grant also spoke about his former Bulls’ teammates Jordan and Scottie Pippen. He said we three still have a great connection and often speak to each-other. Grant has spent almost 17 years in the league and considered one
of the best players who have ever played on the basketball court. During his career he played for four different NBA teams, including the Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, Seattle Supersonics, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
This year’s camp has begun on 26th September and will run until 29th September. The 10 leading players from Asia Pacific countries including, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and China will be attending the
