Major League Soccer franchise Columbus Crew offloaded http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andy-Iro-c6040 to Toronto FC on July 15. Since then, Iro has started all the games for the Canadian club and is confirmed to be starting the game when Toronto visit the Crew at Columbus Crew Stadium.

However, this did not bother Iro; he still has a strong fan base in Ohio as people continue to support him.
“Hopefully they’ll appreciate the kind of effort I gave over four seasons there,” he said of the Columbus fans. “You know, like true fans, they’ll probably heckle. But I know it’s all part of the game.”
The Stalwart said it would be good experience to play in Columbus in front of fans who still adore him.
“I tried to do a little bit here and there in the community,” he said. “I tried to make myself somewhat available to the fans with appearances. ... I didn’t ever hear them boo me, so I think that’s a good thing.”
