The Dutchman, who started his professional career at De Grolsch Veste in the 2002/03 season, has expressed his delight over moving back to England, and has admitted that he was missing the style of English football.
“I am happy to be back in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, I enjoyed my time at Fulham, and now I am older, more experienced and excited to be playing in the English league. I was offered the chance to play for Barnet and I just grabbed the opportunity especially as I love the
style of English football which I have missed”, John was quoted as saying to the club’s official website.
The 26-year-old, who represented Fulham in close to 100 matches during his five-year stay at Craven Cottage, went on to insist that he will put in his 100 percent week in week out to help his new club achieve consistent results.
“I’ve learnt a lot from being at Fulham and from my other clubs and although I am only 26-years- old I bring a wealth of experience. I’m a box player, I bring power and strength, I give 100% all the time and I just can’t wait to get going”, John concluded.
