He will forever remain in the rich history of French football. With 50 appearances for Les Bleus, Frank Leboeuf was the part of the legendary French side that won the FIFA World Cup in 1998. The defender was a just a promising talent at Laval but he soon
started making a name for the national team.

Leboeuf was the man who replaced Laurent Blanc (the current France manager was suspended for the final) as his side beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 in 2000 before announcing his retirement from
the national team in 2002.
Even now, the 44-year-old has not said goodbye to football and regularly plays for the celebrity team, Hollywood United. However, with those stars, Leboeuf plays as a midfielder, a position he was never really accustomed to during his professional career.
Recently in Strasbourg where he is playing a role for the drama “Ma belle-mere et moi” (my stepmother and me), Frank Leboeuf spoke to Dernieres Nouvelles d’Alsace about how things have changed for him since retirement.
“Since my childhood, I’ve always liked plays. I watched the play (Ma belle-mere et moi) with my mother. I lived in a small village (Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer) where there was no school of theatre. My father was crazy about football, he coached youth teams so I was
set. I’ve always been a hard worker. My goals are infinite. I want to make this passion my life,” said Leboeuf while talking about his acting career.
