A few days back, France international Samir Nasri took some time out to have a go at former France manager Raymond Domenech. Domenech has now responded to the Manchester City man’s jibes
Certainly, France international Samir Nasri would never be receiving any Christmas presents from former France national team boss Raymond Domenech. The young midfielder was never really a player Domenech had much time for and while talking to the media,
Samir Nasri had some words for the Frenchman.
Nasri admitted that he was happy when Domenech lost his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and even went on to say, “If I were the president of the federation, I would have fired him in 2008. He said false things about me. In 2008, there were people who said that I was the troublemaker.
But in the 2010 World Cup, where I was not, we saw that I was not the problem.”
The Manchester City midfielder has certainly been very resentful towards the Frenchman but it was only natural for Domenech to come up with a few sharp retorts of his own.
While talking to Ma Chaine Sport, the former Les Bleus boss said a few things but refused to take the war-of-words to the next level.
“I have said that Samir can be a great player if he stops talking and is dedicated on the field. Apparently, he realised it was better to be a little talkative after the weekend. He does not need to shut up. It’s over, I left the ‘school yard’. I will not
even respond,” said Domenech.
Clearly Samir Nasri’s jibes at his former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 manager are ill-time to say the least as the midfielder is not even a confirmed starter in Laurent Blanc’s version of the French national side. Moreover, Laurent Blanc has not decided on which players he will
take with him to the European Championships this summer.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360’s performances since arriving at Manchester City last summer have been inconsistent to say the least. Though the young midfielder scored a goal in City’s 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, his overall performances still pose a lot
of question marks over his status as an integral part of Laurent Blanc’s French side.
