Former French International Christophe Dugarry urges Hazard to stay at Lille OSC- Ligue 1 news
Former French International, Christophe Dugarry, has urged Lille OSC striker, Eden Hazard, to stay at the club for at least one more season. The 39-year-old believes that Hazard might not be ready to make a move to a bigger club, therefore insisted that
the striker should stay with the Mastiffs for the time being.
The 20-year-old has recently been crowned Ligue 1 new player of the season and has invited a lot of interest from several top European outfits. It is believed that the striker would leave the club before the commencement of the 2011/12 season but Dugarry
claimed that Hazard might struggle with any other club if he decides to part ways with the Mastiffs.
Former Serie A champions, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850 International and are ready to make a bid of around 20 Million Euros for the emerging star. Dugarry is against this transfer and wants the striker to gain more experience
before moving on in his career.
The former Birmingham City man further added, "Hazard is still immature and is just a kid, I would advise him to stay on longer in Lille and gain Champions League experience."
Dugarry made 55 International appearances for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and netted in eight goals before retiring in 2002 from International football.
He compared Hazard with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350, saying that it took a long time for the Frenchman to settle at the Bernabeu and therefore the Belgian should not be that desperate to make a move so early in his career.
He concluded by saying, "[http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 is] not ready for a big club where, when you're under the fire of criticism, you have to question yourself and get out. Nobody can help you if you're not yourself. This mentality I think is missing in Eden."
The youngster, though, is highly likely to leave the Ligue 1 champions during the summer transfer window, putting Dugarry’s reservations aside.
