Former Genoa manager Gian Piero Gasperini appointed new Inter Milan manager: Serie A news
Italian giants, Inter Milan, have appointed former Genoa manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, as their new head coach.

including, Andre Villas-Boas, Siniša Mihajlović and Laurent Blanc. However, reports in the Italian media suggested few days back that Inter President, Massimo Moratti, has held decisive talks with Gasperini to hand him the managerial role at San Siro.
The club website revealed the news and the 53-year-old is expected to join the club after the paper work is completed in a few days.

the press will be revealed.

Gasperini joined the managerial role at Genoa in 2006 and won his side promotion to Serie A in his first managerial season. The 2008/09 season was his best season for the Rossoblu, as he helped them finish fifth on the league table,
which was the club’s best standing for 19 years. A miserable start to the 2010/11 campaign led to the manager’s axe and since then, he has been a free agent.
Moratti is a huge admirer of the Italian and he has full faith in him of winning back the Scudetto for Nerazzurri in the future. Inter lost their Serie A title to bitter rivals, A.C Milan, in the recently concluded campaign.
