Former Hamburger SV midfielder Ze Roberto ties knots with Al-Gharafa – Bundesliga news

Al-Gharafa came up with an offer which was promptly accepted by the player. Hamburg were also forced to oblige as the Brazilian had already declined a one-year contract extension offer.
Ze Roberto spent two years with Hamburg but went out of favour last season. With the club focusing on the younger lot of players, the Brazilian was made to sit on the bench, leaving the player frustration and forcing him into making this departure decision.
The club on the other hand looked interested in retaining the experienced campaigner but Roberto had other ideas in his mind.
