There are growing calls by former Indian cricketers to clean the stables of old horses and make space for youngsters. These comments have come in the wake of India’s 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Australia.

India’s run of poor performances over the past six months has created a consensus amongst former Indian cricket greats and pundits that sweeping changes should be made.
Former India captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sourav-Chandidas-Ganguly-c90746, who is in Australia these days for commentating duties, came down heavily on the Indian cricket team demanding extensive changes in the current set-up.
"If the Indian team had performed better in Melbourne and perhaps have won the match the result of the series could have been different," rued the cricketer turned commentator Ganguly during an interview to an Indian TV channel. "If the team keeps losing
like this, changes are inevitable," he said.
The tourists lost the first match at Melbourne by 122 runs, followed by an innings defeat at Sydney and Perth. They lost by 298 runs at the Adelaide Oval, and according to the results, it shows India performed the best in Melbourne, but overall were poor.
