Former Inter Milan tactician, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 are serious title contenders and can win the Serie A this season. He praised the efforts of the Napoli’s manager, Walter Mazzarri and also hailed the Partenopei goal scoring machine,
Edinson Cavani.
The 72-year-old further told that, Napoli are three points short of the Serie A leaders, AC Milan, and could take Milan’s striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s ban to their advantage. Ibrahimovic received a three-match ban after he was shown the red card in a 2-1
win over Fiorentina on Sunday, 10 April.
The last time Napoli won the Scudetto was in 1990 and the Italian legend seemed very much hopeful of their triumph this time around. He further added that, “Napoli are having an extraordinary campaign and play spectacular football. The secret is to keep
a cool head, because the last six rounds are a world apart. They must turn that enthusiasm into an extra weapon. Milan have experience and also a more rounded squad. I think this season Serie A has been very interesting and the quality level is certainly high."
Trapattoni also praised AC Milan's manager, Massimiliano Allegri, mentioning that the 43-year-old has an experienced head on its shoulders. He added that Allegri would make sure that the Rossoneri do not lose their advantage with just six games remaining
in the season.
He claimed that both the coaches, Allegri and Mazzarri, are amongst the top managers and no doubt, Milan and Napoli will find themselves at the top of the table.
Trapattoni also hailed Napoli’s striker, Edinson Cavani, who has netted 25 League goals so far from 31 appearances. He also has four assists under his belt. both in terms of his performances and his behaviour," said Trapattoni. Napoli last won the Scudetto in 1990 and now are blessed with a golden opportunity to lift the Serie A title with just six games remaining in the season.
