Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi wants a 0-10 victory against Inter Milan – Serie A Update
Former Juventus director general, Luciano Moggi, is looking forward to see Juve play against their bitter rivals Inter Milan tonight at San Siro. Moggi wants to see the Turin giants thrash the Nerazzurri 0-10 as he remembers the past and the Calciopoli incident.
While recently talking to the media, the former Juve official expressed what he wishes to see at San Siro. Moggi said:
“I hope Juventus win 10-0. The truth is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 don’t know how to lose and start crying.”
Moggi was the Bianconeri director general at the time of the Calciopoli Scandal and he was banned from his position for life by the Italian Football Federation. Many big outfits were allegedly accused of match fixing and influencing the referee. Big names
like Juventus, AC Milan, Fiorentina and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 were named and punished.
Juve were the ones who were affected the most as they were stripped of two Italian Serie A titles, they were left out of the UEFA Champions League of 2006/07 and were relegated down to the second division Serie B.
Moggi has forever denied the allegations on him and the Bianconeri and believes that the penalties posted were unfair.
“After Calciopoli, they said unfair decisions should be accepted because of the way they were made. The truth is that Inter don’t know how to lose, start crying and lose the plot at the first sign of difficulty. I don’t have a problem with Inter, but I do
hope Juventus win 10-0,” said the former director.
Furthermore, Moggi was the in-charge of transfer policies when the current head coach and former Juve midfielder, Antonio Conte, got selected for the Bianconeri. The former Juve official was impressed by Conte as a player and now he likes the way he is coaching
the newly revamped Juventus squad.
“In terms of spirit, this team reminds me of my first Juve, albeit with less quality,” concluded Moggi.
Juventus, after two consecutive 7th place finishes in the top flight revamped their squad during the summer transfer window and the Lady Killers have made a great start to the 2011/12 season. Currently they sit atop the league table after 8 games
and are unbeaten in the league.
