Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez insists he wants to manage a Premier League club – EPL news
Liverpool’s former boss, Rafa Benitez, has insisted that he wants to manage an English Premier League club. He claimed that he wants to stay in England and wants to wait for a good offer to come in so that he can take the right decision.
The Spaniard has been linked to many European clubs in the past few months but his decision to manage an English club could certainly spark rumours of a possible move to either Fulham or Aston Villa. He added that he is waiting for the right opportunity to arrive so that he could take the decision. He
insisted that he will wait for some more time if he has to but his main priority would be English Premier League.
“I want to stay in England. I will not name clubs, but it is clear there are not many to choose from. Something can emerge and, if not, I will be patient. The important thing is to choose well. The Premier League and I have a good understanding and respect,”
the former manager was quoted as saying in an interview.
The UEFA Champions League winning manager admitted that he has already turned down offers coming from outside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, presumably from Spanish La Liga, so that he could get the opportunity to manage an English club as he understands the League very well.
