Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez wouldn’t mind managing Spain or England
Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 manager, Rafa Benitez has gone on to admit that he wouldn’t mind trying his luck at being a national team manager.
Benitez also seems to have already shortlisted two teams that he wouldn’t mind managing, as he has identified England and Spain to be his primary targets. However, in order to do so, the former manager somehow needs to win over the FA in either Spain or
England.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 as being England’s manager, once the Euro 2012 comes to an end. As a result, numerous managers have been linked with the English job, but Benitez is hoping that his experience of managing
a team in England will help him get the nod above the others competing for the job.
However, Benitez isn’t looking to cut off all his other options, as he is also considering the possibility of becoming the Spanish manager. Benitez is well aware of the fact that he has his work cut out for him, if he is to get either of the two jobs, but
the manager isn’t giving up any hope just yet.
When talking about the possibility of managing either England or Spain, Benitez is quoted to have said: "Yes, why not? Everyone is asking you in Spain 'Do you want to be the manager in the future?'

"And in England now everybody is talking about the position of Capello.

"I think you have to respect the [incumbent] managers - that is the first thing - they are working and they have to carry on and see what happens in the future.

"But, as a manager, always you are thinking about to have a big challenge like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 or England but we have to wait."

Benitez does not have the best of records at the moment, since the manager has been without a job for quite some time. His last employers asked him to leave his post after six months, following a very unsuccessful spell with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan.
Nonetheless, if we look at the facts, Benitez might be more likely to get the chance of managing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, as opposed to Spain, simply because of the fact that he has been far more successful while managing English squads.
