Former Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook apologizes to Nedum Onuoha’s mother
Former Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook has gone on to apologize to Nedum c’s mother.
The former City employee was reported to have sent the City player’s mother an email, which made fun of her cancer. However, Cook then went on to deny ever sending that mail to her and stated that his e-mail account had been hacked. However, despite his
best attempts, the chief executive was forced to leave his post at the club and has since then parted ways with Manchester City.
Nonetheless, it seems that Cook has now gone on to issue a phone call to Onuoha’s family in order to apologize for his actions and for the email that he had send out.

Mancini has admitted that he is sad to see Cook leave, but feels that what has been done could not be avoided given the circumstances.
"I didn't know the situation. I read a newspaper three days ago and I'm very sorry for Onuoha's mum," he told reporters.
"But I'm also very sorry for Garry because I worked with him for 15 months."
Mancini then later went on to admit that he had, had his fair share of problems with Cook in the past, but felts that once you work with someone for so long, such incidents are bound to take place.
"Of course, sometimes we had some problems, but that is normal when you work closely with someone," he added.
