Former Mexico manager Javier Aguirre believes Javier Hernandez is similar to Fernando Torres

Hernandez joined the Red Devils before the start of the 2010/11 season from Mexican club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guadalajara-c39463, for only 6 million pounds. Since his arrival at Old Trafford, the striker has taken the world by storm and has impressed everyone with a more than impressive debut campaign. The 22-year-old has scored 19 goals in 42 appearances this season so far and has already drawn comparisons with the club legend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Compared to Hernandez’s 6 million pounds move to United, Torres signed for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in January 2011 for 50 million pounds. Aguirre, who was Torres’s manager during his Atletico Madrid days and has also managed Hernandez during his stint with the Mexican national team, believes that there is little difference between the duo.
The 52-year-old refused to pick out a favourite of the two and believes that the players are like your children and you cannot pick out the best. However, he believes Torres’s experience definitely gives him the edge over the Mexican.
"I actually think there are a lot of similarities between Javier and Fernando as players and people. They are both very polite and very hard-working. They can be the reference for their teams and they can make the difference in the biggest games.”
