Former Napoli defender Moreno Ferrario tips Bayern Munich to win the Group-A in the Champions League
Former Napoli defender Moreno Ferrario has tipped German giants Bayern Munich to win the Group-A in the UEFA Champions League ahead of the likes of Napoli, Villarreal CF and Manchester City. He stated that the Bavarian giants have
some brilliant players in their side and have immense quality to top the group and are better than the other three sides in the Group.

Napoli drew their first match at Etihad Stadium and are in second and third place respectively.
Ferrario claimed that Bayern Munich has the potential and the quality to win the group and are a better side than Napoli. He insisted that all four teams are capable of qualifying to the next stage but the obvious choice would
be the Bavarian giants whereas the other three have to fight for their place.
“Bayern Munich are the only team [in Group A] who have something extra over Napoli, particularly when it comes to experience. Villarreal are a very good team. They're at the same level as City, who have the potential to become
a great side,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“The game against Villarreal could be decisive, and winning would be a great result. It would also help to ease the pressure a bit,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will face Manchester City at the Allianz Arena whereas Napoli will take on Villarreal CF in their clash on Tuesday. Group A is being called the ‘Group of Death’ as it involves four very good sides. The group stage
fixtures finish in December after which it will be determined which teams progress further in the competition.
