Thanks to the amount spend and games won, Paris Saint-Germain will eventually become a force in Europe for years to come. The arrival of the Qataris as new owners last summer has turned things around for the capital club.
No more are PSG going to watch the likes of Marseille, Lyon and Lille attract big players. However, things were certainly different before the Qataris’ arrival at the club.
While talking to Le Parisien, former PSG president, Sebastien Bazin, has expressed his delight at the arrival of the Qataris at the club because he feels that this recent ownership change will take the club to the next level soon.
Bazin said that during his time at the club, he was forced to take a lot of harsh decisions and even had to work hard while dealing with contracts of senior players. Bazin says that he wanted to make sure that PSG stayed behind a financial crisis.
Bazin feels that new people in the training centre are doing an excellent work and also added that the Qataris are serious about the club.
“Everything is thought out and organised. The arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056, Jean-Claude Blanc, Ancelotti, the coaching staff: nothing is improvised. Ambition is defined and communicated. I’m willing to bet that they will soon be champions of France and European Champions.
The Qataris are here (Paris) by no accident.”
Bazin further revealed that originally, Qataris were going to buy the club in two years but they sped things up when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 was nominated the host of the World Cup in 2022.
Always concerned about Parc des Princes, Bazin insists that it would not be good to see PSG leave their beloved home.
“We have worked a lot at Parc des Princes. The Parc will be different from today so that it can meet the ambition of new PSG with more revenue, more capacity and more rooms.”
Bazin has been working with the Qataris for four months in a bid to convince them to stay at Parc des Princes and not to move to Stade de http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 permanently as he feels that the club’s tradition should not be tampered with.
