Some of the former Pakistani cricketers have lashed out at Mohammad Amir for his confession regarding the spot-fixing scam, claiming that it has earned sheer disrepute to the nation and the cricket board alike.

Aamir, it is proved that the Scotland Yard would have handed over very solid evidence to the ICC on the basis of which the ICC took such a strict action.”
The critics argue that Amir’s acknowledgement will lead the ICC and the International cricket fraternity to tighten their scrutiny net around the Men in Green who are already under the radar. They opine that the tainted trio will have to suffer more complications
now.
On the other hand, there are some analysts who believe that Amir’s revelations may urge the global governing body of the game to give some concessions in the punishment of the trio.
Amir, the 19-year-old left-arm bowler, made his international debut in 2009 and played 14 Test, 15 ODI and 18 T20I matches within a year, astonishing the world with his outstanding performances.
