Speaking to the media, the 31-year-old said, “I’m looking forward to do well as an all-rounder for Hampshire, all I’m thinking about is how to regain my form, both as a bowler and as a batsman.”

authorities in Pakistan.
“The last few weeks were pretty frustrating but thank God it’s over now. I’m feeling relieved,” the hard hitting batsman said.

Under Misbah, the team won a two-match one-day series against minnows http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751, in the absence of Afridi, as he decided to skip the tour.

After Afridi’s interview, the PCB immediately cancelled his central contract and revoked the NOC, which was mandatory for the player in order to play for Hampshire.
Meanwhile, Afridi, deciding not to back down, opted to take the PCB to court in order to get his NOC back.
However, timely interference by Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, averted a long and hectic legal battle between Afridi and the cricket governing body of Pakistan.
In a meeting hosted by Rehman, both Afridi and Butt decided to end the feud outside court.
According to the agreement, Afridi appeared before PCB’s disciplinary committee and tendered an apology, while the committee slapped him with a ban of 4.5 million Pakistani Rupees. After this, the matter was resolved and the player was handed over the required
NOC.
