The lawsuit states that Calderon organized a team of people to achieve his goals, which was none other than to win the Real Madrid presidency.
In order to pull the coup, Attorney Leticia Calderon (daughter of Ramón Calderon) filed a complaint against his rival, Villar Mir. It allowed them to take precautionary measures that are normally not taken into account when votes are posted. At that time, candidate Villar Mir was ahead in the election polls.
The news of case will severely jolt the reputation of Spanish football that saw Sevilla President Jose Maria Del Nido sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison.
