Former TNA World Champion to appear at TNA iMPACT show next week
The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion is expected to appear at TNA iMPACT show on Thursday, May 5. He is currently defending himself in a drug abuse case against him. There are chances that Hardy will collide with the current World Champion, Sting, for
a title shot.
There are chances for Hardy to survive from being punished for his drug use case. The case was postponed again by Senior Resident Judge James J. Webb on April 20. The purpose for delaying this case was to assess the drug treatment. Hardy’s Attorney, James
Van Camp, demanded the continuance from the judge this time. He said that there had been no assessment yet and it needed some more time. He said that they should wait for the lab tests reports that were taken by the State Bureau of Investigation. Hardy’s drug
use case is in process in Moore County, North Carolina Superior Court.
Hardy retained his TNA World Championship against Ken Anderson in TNA Pay-Per-View event 'Against All Odds' on February 13. It was really a momentous match between both Hardy and Anderson. Anderson acquired the title from Hardy a month before that PPV event
at Genesis, but Hardy retained it again. The victory was taken after a 16 minutes of brutal match.
In the third Match, Sting returned TNA after several weeks’ absence. Hardy was strained to put his world title on the line against the mysterious challenger who was Sting. Hardy could not defend his title and Sting became the new champion. Hardy made a statement
that he did not prepare himself for the match against Sting and demanded a rematch. A championship match between Sting and Hardy was set for the TNA PPV event '2011 Victory Road' on March 13. Sting retained the championship due to the cooperation of Eric Bischoff
and the referee in just one and half minute. After the PPV event match, Hardy was not seen in the weekly TNA iMPACT shows. He was fighting his drug use case during that period.
The TNA reviewed its fans’ ratings that were decreasing day by day. They decided to increase the number of fans. Hardy is a fan famous superstar and has great respect and love among his fans. Therefore TNA planned to take Hardy back. For this purpose, they
currently offered Hardy free rehab. TNA also offered free videos to TNA viewers in its 'On Demand' project. As Hardy’s drug use case postponed so the chances for this tremendous superstar to carry his wrestling career increased. The TNA officials announced
that Hardy would soon join the TNA. Hardy will possibly attend the TNA iMPACT show on May 5.
