Juan Mata, the 23-year-old Chelsea winger, revealed he was enjoying life at the London club after getting off to a flying start. The Spaniard was amongst Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas’ summer transfer window signings and has undoubtedly proved to be the
most successful.

Despite interest from various other sides, the Spanish winger
joined Chelsea for an estimated fee of £23.5 million.
Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Mata has continued with his terrific form, wasting no time to adjust to the fast paced English football. In seven appearances in all competitions so far, Mata has scored two goals and provided three crucial assists.

Mata said on the club’s official website:
“I enjoyed the match because it was an important game for us. We needed to win to keep up at the top of the table, and it was a good game.”
Mata expressed his joy at having contributed to yet another win for Chelsea and said he felt his new club had to continue with their winning form if they wanted to be top of the table. Meanwhile, he remains confidence in his ability to keep performing for
the London side.
He continued:
“From the first match I had a goal and it brought confidence for me, and I am enjoying the city and the club.”
