Marcos Ceara has hit out at his former employers for the treatment of star player Nene who is set to leave Parc des Princes in the upcoming January transfer window after being frozen out of the squad by Carlo Ancelotti
Asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain six months before his contract expired, Brazilian right-back, Marcos Ceara chose to terminate his contract with the Ile giants after spending five years at Parc des Princes during which he became one of the best full backs in the country.
Now, back in his native http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcos-c23772 Ceara still keeps tabs on the happenings around the Saint-Germain area.
Although he is happy to see his former club progress a lot, Ceara was left shocked at angry when he saw the club’s treatment of his friend Nene. The 31-year-old winger had been a star player for Paris Saint-Germain before the start of the current campaign, having been the club’s top scorer for the previous two seasons.
However, the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 meant that the Brazilian would always struggle to hold down a place in Ancelotti’s starting XI. Even though he played well whenever asked, the Italian tactician never really trusted the former AS Monaco man.
And, Ceara finds it really hard to believe that a player, who helped the club qualify for the Champions League last season, was hung out to dry by sporting director Leonardo who Ceara feels, is obliged to players he brought to the club.
“This is real injustice. Nene was the archetype of our Champions League qualification. I also regret the position of the supporters. They should have given more support to Nene in order to convince him to stay. They are not the best players who are playing but it’s because they have been brought in by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056,” said the former PSG captain while talking to L’Equipe.
