Formula 1 Driver Robert Kubica speaks about personal life
The current Renault driver Robert Kubica was born on 7 December in 1984 and has been a part of Formula 1 since 2006 when he joined BMW Sauber to begin his journey. The Polish driver stayed with the team for 4 years and made quite an impact during his time there. The 25-year old was able to score his first podium in his very first season. He scored his first win in 2008 along with 7 podium positions and 1 pole position to score 75 points to gain the 4th position in the drivers’ standings. He has scored 1 win, 11 podiums and 1 pole position in his 5-year career.
However, the young Polish driver did not talk about Formula 1 in this interview. Robert spoke about his “Secret Life” in an exclusive interview with the Formula 1 Official website.
Kubica said that he always hopes that his original plan will work and usually has no “Plan B”. He enjoys nothing more than rallying and looks forward to seeing his engineers, who usually tell him about the extraordinary upgrades to improve the car. Robert was not able to answer the question about who would be his dream date as he has respect for so many people and said he cannot name so many people. He is not into Hollywood that much either so he is not that eager to meet the stars. He does not like watching films and could not even remember which film made him cry when he was asked which movie last made him cry. He is afraid of deep water and helicopters and does not feel comfortable in the middle of the sea. The last book Robert read was about criminal clans in Naples and Campania by the name of Gomorrah. Kubica hates cars that are difficult to drive, traffic, milk, butter and people who are always late and will never consider dying his hair or getting tattoos. The 25-year olds parents used to have a tape producing company.
He used to miss a lot classes as he used to travel for kart races and the teachers hardly knew him. Robert tried learning at home earlier but later, he had a parallel education as his racing intensified. The Polish driver was a fan of kart driver, Daniel Rossi, when he was young and had his posters on the walls of his room. Kubica loved to ski but could not as he signed a contract with the Formula 3 and did not get any time. The 25-year old likes collecting scale models of rally cars, and has three normal scale rally cars in his room. The thing he misses the most is the feeling of being at home when he is travelling as he believes that no matter how good the hotels are, they are never better than home.
The worst thing the 25-year old ever bought was a cell phone that he used for exactly half an hour and then realized that it was a nuisance. Robert likes running or using a bike early in the morning as the air is so fresh and clean but usually ends up going back to sleep after turning off the alarm. His first vehicle was a miniature jeep when he was four and a half years old in the scale of 1:4 or 1:5 with a three-horsepower engine and two gears. The Polish driver realized that very day that he is supposed to be a driver.
Kubica claims that he was always within the rules of society and his surroundings and never had to face any big embarrassing moments in his life. If there were an embarrassing moments in his life, then he would try to learn from it and move on. He used to cook for himself mostly when he was in karting and liked cooking barbecue a lot. Robert says he never gets angry and believes he is a well-tempered person.
