Formula 1 driver’s expectations (Part 1)
Formula 1 is definitely not one of the most active sports these days or ever was honestly. Even during the Formula 1 season, a race takes place after a minimum time of one week while sports like Football, Cricket, and Tennis etc are more famous in a way
and as a result, these sports have a number of events taking place almost throughout the year internationally.
But Formula 1 is initially not just a sport. It’s a technological competition as well. Therefore, most of the people who like motorsports enjoy Formula 1 more because of its technicalities and standard. On the other hand, other motorsports like NASCAR, Rally
etc are not as competitive as Formula 1.
Especially since the 2010 Formula 1 season was quite exhilarating, most of the fans are now wanting for more and it is getting quite difficult for some to wait for the 2011 Formula 1 season. Even some of the drivers are going through a tough time waiting
for the 2011 season including Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button.
Quite obviously, Formula 1 fans might be expecting that the 80-year-old young CEO of the FIA Bernie Ecclestone might come up with an idea of having 2 Formula 1 races a day. But we are all aware that that is impossible.
However, one has to wonder, most of the Formula 1 drivers have already achieved their dream and that is racing in Formula 1. What are their expectations for the 2011 Formula 1 season?
Sebastian Vettel:
His dream would begin with him standing alongside Mark Webber and Christian Horner.
Christian Horner: “I think I don’t need to say this but who cares, I’ll say it again. Mark your old and grumpy and you’re an Australian for the love of God! What are you even doing driving a Formula 1 car anyway? Why don’t you go and help the kangaroos do
something useless?
Sebastian Vettel: *giggles*
Mark Webber: “Oi! You think its funny ey? Well I quit than! You will never be able to find a better and younger driver than me!”
Christian Horner: *calls Robert Kubica* “Hey Robert! Would you like to drive for Red Bull for the 2011 Formula 1 season?”
Robert Kubica: “h**l yeah!”
Christian Horner: “In your face Mark!”
Mark Webber: *cries and runs away*
That way, Sebastian will be the star of the show and he will hopefully have some healthy and younger competition alongside him and everybody wins! Except Mark Webber that is.
Mark Webber:
Mark Webber might be expecting something quite different from what Sebastian is expecting. The only way he can seduce team Red Bull is if Christian Horner gets hit in the head similar to how Tom gets in Tom and Jerry and eventually, lose all his memory.
That way, the Aussie driver would drive Red Bull’s team boss against Sebastian Vettel and as a result, he would get more preference.
Mark Webber: “Oi Christian, Sebastian said that you smell bad ey. I mean, you’re the boss mate. How can you take that from an employee?”
Christian Horner: “I’m the boss?”
Mark Webber: “Of course you are mate! Now what I think you should do is fire that no good free loader. And make me the champion. What do you say ey?”
Christian Horner: “I don’t know man!”
Mark Webber: “Of course you do! You can’t take that from an employee now right? So fire him!”
Christian Horner: “Alright.” *goes to Sebastian Vettel* “Sebastian, you’re fired!”
That way everybody loses at team Red Bull. Except Mark Webber that is.
As for Christian Horner, he is okay with anything as long as his team wins and he doesn’t have to deal with Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel’s pillow fights which we all know will continue in 2011.
