Formula 1 for rookies

Formula 1 is currently the most watched and supported motorsport in the world due to the unpredictability level and drama the sports offers to its viewers. It used to be much simpler back in the day but after an abundance of new rules and technicalities
that have been added to the sport, it seems that Formula 1 is not easy to understand as compared to other motorsports.
Formula 1 started off with just fast cars racing on complicated tracks with difficult braking points and tight turns along with long straights and slipper roads. Back in the day, fans used to love Formula 1 because of the amount of speed and adrenaline it
used to offer and of course because of the fact that some of the people were more interested in witnessing a crash or a technical failure.
However, everything changed after people like Bernie Ecclestone, introduced a completely new perspective to the sport and made it more of a “playground” for engineers and drivers rather than just a sport that is all about winning. Drivers and teams have
started experimenting and playing around with the rules and regulations and as a result, the sport is obviously flourishing more than it ever did before.
Nowadays, since Formula 1 is getting even more complicated and exhilarating at the same time, most Formula 1 fans are enjoying it even more but people who never watched Formula 1 or tried to understand it are now even more baffled than they ever were before.
With the introduction of devices like the F-Duct and KERS, some people think that Formula 1 is a cool sport especially engineers who hope to experiment and want to stick their finger into something that they cannot understand so easily in a short amount
of time. For all those people, fear not, this article might help you understand how people in Formula 1 think and work.
Formula 1 is currently downsizing but I don’t think that they would mind hiring people who can outsmart other engineers and play around with the rules and regulations of the sport to introduce something that is valid and unique and enables a Formula 1 car
to perform even better. Yes people, it is about engineering more than driving but this does not mean that a NASCAR driver can drive a Formula 1 car.
Formula 1 requires physical fitness and a lot of brain power (which Americans lack) and that is the reason why Americans have started their own motorsports. One has to admit, the best drivers originate from Europe and American drivers can only drive around
in circles. It is quite difficult to differentiate which Grand Prix is going on in NASCAR as each and every track is exactly the same.
Formula 1 for most rookies is cars travelling around the track at high speeds and since it is much safer than Moto GP or any other motorsport, they don’t get to see a violent car crash every now and then. That sucks now doesn’t it? On top of that, the drivers
are quite professional and mostly avoid each other’s cars on track and it is quite understandable as Formula 1 drivers have to be careful about every thousandth of a second. Avoiding such a big car is not a big problem for them.
Many people believe that “Formula 1 is boring because they don’t even know how to drive. All they can do is bring p***y cat dolls on the grid and tell the world that they are cooler than everyone else.” That only happens at the McLaren pit garage and frankly
speaking, cameramen also have feelings so they like taking pictures of pussycat dolls rather than showing us what Formula 1 is really about.
The bottom line is, to understand Formula 1; one has to press the “plus” button on their remote which increases the volume of a television set, and listen to what the commentators say rather than just watch cars travelling at around 300kmph. Or maybe visit
Bettor.com once in a while and read a couple of articles on Formula 1 to understand the technicalities of the sport.

(The quotations and the comments above are the writers creation and solely for the purpose of adding hilarity to the article)
