Formula One: Ferrari and Lotus Reveal Cars
Ferrari and Lotus have taken lead in the pre-preparation session of Formula One 2011 season as they reveal their cars and drivers. Although some drivers want to squeeze in the Ferrari team like Adrian Sutil of Force India as he, talking about Ferrari, said
"I think the road cars are cool. I think the racing team is cool. I think the colour is cool. It is something very special," the latest words from officials of Ferrari reveal that there is no job opening.
The Scuderia Ferrari’s car will be called F150, the name given in tribute to the 150th anniversary of Italy unification. They also confirmed that the car will hit the road for the very first time on Friday at Ferrari’s head quarter.
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo said at the opening “All the men and women who put so much effort and passion into their work at Maranello share the pride and responsibility of representing our country around the world and it is in this spirit
that we chose to dedicate this car to an event that is so important for the whole of Italy”. Quick thanks came from the Italy president Giorgio Napolitano after he was told about the car’s name.
Ferrari's name for 2011 was decided last year as F288 but the name was changed for Italian people as a souvenir. F150 is also the name of Fords truck series also.
