Formula One Gossip: McLaren Men, Hamilton and Button Finally Settle Matters with Their Girlfriends
McLaren might not have been very satisfied by their race finish yet they return home happily, especially the thirty year old driver, Jenson Button. The beautiful city of Budapest saw the reunion of the Briton driver with his girlfriend Jessica Michibata, this Sunday, at the twelfth race of the season, the Hungarian Grand Prix. The presence of the glamorous girlfriend of the racing super star brought a new spring in the relationship of the couple that had bust-up earlier this season.
Moreover, Lewis Hamilton, the tan and lean McLaren driver, who had always been successful in magnetising huge female fans, also had a patch up with his girlfriend earlier this season.
Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer of the American pop band, Pussycat Dolls, is seeing Hamilton for quite some time now. However, just like any other love story of super stars, the two broke up last year following a long series of disputes and fights. Nevertheless, earlier this year, the handsome and aggressive racer patched up with the stylish and glamorous singer once again. Nicole came to cheer Hamilton at the Turkish Grand Prix. Hamilton, who had always claimed the girl to be his lucky charm, was able to bag victory at the race in Turkey, thus celebrating the evening in the presence of the singer.
On the other hand, Button, the World Championship defender of the season, split with his girlfriend Jessica Michibata, the beautiful long haired super model, in May, thus walking out of the 18-month long relationship. However, after getting over their differences, the two are together once again after two months, Jessica made a return to the Formula One paddock last weekend in Hungary.
Button after having the race day packed at fourth place told media in a post race press conference that, "Jessica's only here for the weekend and then she has to go back to Japan for some work.”
The two have further planned to see each other again in August, as the Formula One caravan sets for a summer break. The couple revealed that they are expecting to have a nice long vacation together.
Button announced through his official website, “It just makes me happier. You have bad days and you have good days, but on the bad days she puts a smile on your face.”
Furthermore, he was happy to say to one of the reports that Jessica was just such a lovely person and after their reunion he hopes to have no more bad days with each other.
Well, as the seasoned paddock observers looked at the two McLaren men embracing their girlfriends joyfully after their respective reunions, they just wondered how long the relationships are going to last this time around.
Moreover, many are even suspicious to know how well the two girls would be getting along together at a time when both the drivers claim to be the best team mates and yet are at the same time fighting out intensely for the world title.
So far, the model and the singer had been rarely ever seen together at the same race weekend, for which many suggest that the two do not want to share the limelight.
Scherzinger and Hamilton were seen together in Istanbul at the Turkish Grand Prix last time, in late May, which was the first race after Button split with Michibata.
Currently, Hamilton stands at second place in the Drivers’ Standings with one hundred and fifty seven points, while his team mate follows him for fourth place with having a total of one hundred and thirty seven points, being shy of ten points after twelve races of the year have already gone.
