Formula One: Hamilton Determined To Conquer the Spa Circuit, at the Belgian Grand Prix- 27-29 August 2010

The ever aggressive and determined racer, Lewis Hamilton is ready to post another victory flag deep down. The ever impressive driver moves to the next race of the season filled with passion and optimism. The British driver sees the upcoming race of Spa, Belgium as an opportunity to further enhance his bright and impressive racing career.
The last race of the season, held just before the Formula One caravan shut down its tents for the three week summer break, was not much of what the young lad wanted it to be. He had a real hurting finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix, as he had to retire owing to technical problems in the car. This incident had cost him his first place of the Drivers’ Championship, which is now possessed by Mark Webber of Red Bull from whom he snatched it earlier this season.
Currently, the McLaren driver lies at second place in the Drivers' Standings being shy of just four points from the chart leader. After the long break, the 2008 world champion is all determined and stirred to get the his top place back once again.
While talking to reporters from the official website of ESPN, the sports news network, Hamilton said that the team is returning to the track with a lot of positivity and high spirits. He stated that they are all hoping to get back into the title fight as soon as they can. He further added that he would be ‘going flat out to get back’ in the battle of the title in Belgium.
Hamilton thinks that the next two races are very crucial for them if they wish to stay in the title contention of 2010.
While answering to the question for how the break had been for the team, he replied that it was not a complete withdrawal from the race; rather the entire McLaren crew was constantly in close contact. These three weeks actually gave them some very precious time to tailor the future strategy for the team, as well as to think of ways to have the car improved for the remainder of the season. He further added that now they return to the track very optimistic for some great results and a stronger pace for the last and the most crucial half of the season.
During his brief career of Formula One, Hamilton had been able to make his place among the top drivers of the sport very brilliantly, with holding one world championship, as well as the record of being the youngest title winner of Formula One history. He got hold of the championship in 2008, at the age of twenty four while it was only his second year of the series.
The phenomenal racer has yet not been able to win any race at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit, whilst he is eager to have a race win here this year, which would not only bring him back to the top of the charts but would also add another circuit in the list of his conquered tracks.
Now, as he moves to the Spa track he said that he is moving ahead with completely putting behind all the disappointing memories of the non finish in Hungary. He rather looks at the incident as a learning experience for the entire team instead of being a discouraging one. He was happy to exclaim that the team had investigated the cause and as they move ahead for the rest of the races of the season, they are confident that such a mishap would not be repeated again.
He concluded his interview saying, “Spa is one of the great Formula One tracks and one I'd really love to win."
Well, a week is yet to go and all the race lovers would witness an intensely heated head to head fight in Belgium.
