Formula One: Massa rejects the claims of leaving his Ferrari team
The twenty nine years old Brazilian ace Formula 1 driver, Felipe Massa has denied the facts that he intends to leave the Ferrari racing team. It was reported that Massa is being considered as the number two driver for his Ferrari team, which seemed totally
unaccepted for Massa. Very recently, it was also reported that Felipe is going to retire from his team in the end of the season.
In a very recent interview, Felipe Massa rejected all the claims about his intentions of leaving the team and showed his loyalty and dedication for his prestigious Formula 1 racing team.
It is to be notified that Luca di Montezemolo, the president of Ferrari has demanded a good performance from the Brazilian driver and also demanded a strong help from Massa for Alonso in his struggle for the championship title.
The challenges ahead for the Brazilian are not going to be easy at all but he is of the view that he will try his level best to help his veteran team mate in the remaining two races of the Formula 1 season. When Massa was asked about his current relation
with his team, the twenty nine year old expressed his thoughts pretty confidently and told the media that so far his relation with his Ferrari team has been great and he is not willing to leave Ferrari as it is very dear to him.
He added that his time with his team has been the same and nothing has changed between them and he is planning for the future now. Massa said that every year is the same for him and he is with his team since 2006.
The rumours filled the air about Massa’s intentions of leaving the Ferrari team. The incident of ordering Massa to let Alonso overtake him in the German Grand Prix added fuel to the fire. It was also reported that Massa was willing to join the team Renault
or Sauber as he was not feeling comfortable with the team.
In a very recent interview, the manager of Ferrari team Stefano Domenicali expressed his views and thoughts about the matter and told the media that Massa is considered as a very important asset for the Ferrari team and to him, Massa should stay here with
the team as a partner of Fernando Alonso. Domenicali rejected all the claims and said that Felipe is happy with the team and he has no intentions of taking retirement.
The recent Korean Grand Prix was a good finish the team Ferrari, as Alonso clinched the championship lead and his team mate Massa came in third. Alonso leads the driver standings by 231 points, while Massa is 6th with 143 points.
Massa said that he knows what his team wants from him and his team also knows his demands and this is important to him. He said that the current season has not been so good to him, as he has not been able to achieve much and he is not happy with the fact.
The twenty nine year old Brazilian added that he is not satisfied with the way he has performed during the season but there are still two races left and he is hopeful of snatching even better results out of them.
Massa expressed his loyalty for his team and said that he will do his best for the team and he will try to help his team mate to clinch the best results for the Ferrari team.
With just 50 points remaining to play for in two more races of the season, the tug still remains equally critical for all the top four drivers. The Brazilian GP is scheduled to start on the 5th of November and the two-time World Champion says
that he is not at all doing maths with points now, as the season had been so unpredictable right from the start and still he reckons that anything is possible.
