Heikki Kovalainen replaced Fernando Alonso in 2007 and was teamed with Giancarlo Fisichella. Both drivers moved on to different teams in '08. Heikki went to Mclaren Mercedes as Lewis' new teammate and Giancarlo went on to the Force India (former Spyker team) and is paired with Adrian Sutil.

In 2008, Fernando Alonso moved back to Renault and test driver Nelson Piquet became his new teammate!
