Formula cause gas in baby?

What can you do for a 4.5 week old that has gas due to Parents Choice milk based formula? Will it hurt him?

  1. you can give the baby milicon drops if you have them. it is safe for infants and you can't overdose because it doesn't go into their system. it just gets rid of the gas and passes through. you might want to move to a different formula. i'm not sure what the parents choice would be, but equivalent to gentlease or similac sensitive. something with half the lactose.

  3. I tried about 5 different kinds of baby formula before I found one that didn't cause gas in my baby. Nestle Good Start worked for us. The consistency of it is not very thick and I think helped eliminate my baby's gas! Be sure to use the concentrated formula as it's sterile (use until baby's a little older) Try different kinds of formula every couple weeks to really "test" your baby on it. Good luck
