  1. bar is a unit of pressure, ton is a unit of weight, you cannot convert from one to the other.

    .

  2. In hydraulics, you have always a formula to convert Load to pressure and vise versa.

    Pressure = Load/Area.

    So if you want to life one tonne of weight using a hydraulic pipe lifter of pipe dia 10cm, then the pressure should be 1000/10 = 100Kg/cm^2 which is 100Bars (1 bar = 1.02kg/cm^2).

    You can work out by changing the dia of the pipe.

  3. Bunk. 1 bar = 14.50377 pounds per square inch.
