Forster Street likely to succeed in Beverley Advertiser Handicap
Forster Street has got a very good chance of winning the Beverley Advertiser Handicap at Beverley in England on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. He has performed well at this venue in the past, thus his team will be hopeful of a solid result in the class-5 event,
which has a cash prize of £2,264 for the winner.
No runner taking part in the 1 mile, 1 furlong and 207 yard race seems to be in dominant form right now, thus it is extremely hard to predict the winner accurately. Despite that, the bookmakers have given the best odds to Saint Thomas, who has won at Beverley
on a couple of times in his career.
On the other hand, Forster Street has been priced 11 to 1 today and the punters might not be interested in risking a lot of bets on him. However, he has the ability to surprise one and all with his skills and it will be a good idea to risk some money on
his victory.
The three-year-old gelding lacks experience, as he has only participated in five races overall. His performances in them have not been much consistent, as he has managed to win just once whereas never finished in the top three other than that.
The Tim Easterby’s trainee first appeared onto the scene back in June 2011 and his performances was below par. He was priced 66 to 1 back then and finished ninth out of 13 runners in total.
There was no improvement for the young runner in his next race, as he ended up eighth that time around. His last race of that season took place at Beverley and he showed signs of improvement in it. Although, he failed to make it to the top three, yet his
speed was good enough to earn him the fourth spot, which was not bad at all.
At the start of 2012, Forster Street took part in another event at Beverley and this time proved to be the best of the lot, finishing on top of the table. He only appeared in one more race afterwards, but failed to make an impression in it.
However, Beverley has proved to be a lucky track for Acclamation’s son and his team will be looking forward to the race today. His partner will be seasoned jockey, David Allan.
