- I am in the military and fly alot, I probably wont be there more than 1/2 the time.

- I plan on being a total miser turning off the A/C when not there, maybe even the water heater on extended trips more than a few days (still have to figure that out if that is worth heating the water back up and cooling the apt. down again)

- I am going to be living by myself. This question includes water/sewage, electric, trash (If not included), and gas.

- If you guys could be so kind, also, what do you pay for basic phone/basic cable/internet or a cheap basic package/bundle? Companies?

- Thanks in advance for my financial planning!

  1. They still charge you a big fee for utility even if you do't use any. That is the problem. This just sucks but they do want to make money. What you need to do is find a place where they only use gas or one that only use electricity because you don't have to pay two companies - gas and electric are different in many cities.

Only In California maybe one company owns both the gas and electric bill togther. Utility normally costs about $100 total together for apartments unless you have calble TV and such. You add more costs if you have such things. Nothing is free.
