Forty niners Defense?

Do you guys and gals think the San Francisco 49ers defense can come up big this year? Are they better than Carolina's defense?

Their defense will be good - a top 15 defense.

CAR's defense has always been over-rated.  I think Peppers only had 2 sacks last year.

they have a job ahead of them Carolina's doing an exceptional job.

they will be just average...they are not as good as carolina...

Well, it doesn't hurt when they went out and added a former Pro Bowler to their LB core in Takeo Spikes. As far as whether they'll be better than Carolina's D, I'd say it's close but I'd have to go with Carolina on that one.
