I'm trying to find out which Forum Youngbloods are from which years. I think these are the latest two.

Can someone tell me which one is from which seasons? (06/07 and 07/08) In my opinion, the first one looks way more dope then the second, but yeah, are there any major differences in the two? I'm thinking about buying a new board for a low price because it's end of season, and from what I've researched, the Youngblood is a naaasty board, in a good way. I'm an all round snowboarder, I'll ride some slopes and some woods, and then I'll head to the park and jib some. I mess around on jumps and pipes a little bit, but I mainly need a board for jibbing and just chillen on the mountains slopes. Is this a good board for me? I'm about 5'9 and 145, and I ride a 159 at the moment, a little long I know, but i got it before I started riding park. I think a 158 would be good for next season? HELP

  1. the second one (lower link) is the 07/08 and in my opinion, looks way better than the first, but.....graphics should be the last thing on your mind when looking for a board, it's going to be covered in snow most of the time anyways.  if you are going to hang it on your wall, then get one w/graphics you like.  The youngblood is  a good board, and they didn't change the technology much at all between the two years.   i like the youngblood team, it's a little beefier,. or the seeker.

I would go smaller than a 158.  a 1cm drop in board legnth isn't going to be noticable at all to you,  and with your weight, you're better off on a 156.  i'm 6'0" and 170 lbs and ride a 158 custom to give you an idea, it's my all around board, and i have a nitro 157 eero ettala for jibbing and park riding.  my next one will prob be a 160-something for just stone cold cruising.  good luck.
