Forum rules and regulations?

Just out of interest, If a forum admin was being particulary unpleasant and you complained to another admin but he/she was defending the admin who was being unpleasant and saying that if any action is taken further the entire forums will close and it will be on your head, what could you do? like does the admin have to investigate or is there an watchdog that you could speak to?

also is there any laws or human rights concerning freedom of speech in forums?

(lets say that the forum is based in australia and I'm in England does that make a difference?)

  1. in almost all cases, one of the admins is the sole owner of the domain and forums. there is no justice on forums against admins, just play by the rules or find a new forum

  2. Forums are private property of whoever owns the forum.

They do not have to follow free speech laws and can basically do whatever they want, as long as it does not break the law (Child p**n for example)

They can ban anyone for any reason and no one else can do anything about it.  "Human rights and free speech" do not apply on forums.

Forum admins can be unfair as they want.
