Forum website content copied: what should I do?

My website forum has been copied by someone and placed on their own domain. I've done some reading and it seems even though I don't own the rights to user posting (users do) I still own the "collective work". I can file the DMCA with their hosting provider but it gets tricky here: the content thief mixed all messages so there is no preserved threading. The posts are copied but the threads are all mixed up (I guess it's a spamming method for search engines).

What should I do in this situation? Will DMCA complain work for me?
