Does a Forward Annual Dividend Rate of 0.40 mean that the company pays 40 cents on every share? thanks

  1. i don't know what a dividend rate is.  the usual stock dividend is stated as an amount of money. such as .10 per share.  a rate is a percentage of maybe the stock price or amount of shares you own.  ask your broker he can explain it better.
