The versatile playmaker is close to signing a deal with the new Bundesliga outfit after being linked with them for the longest time and is even prepared to take a pay cut.

are doing their best to sign the Greek international player from PAOK.

promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time since 1997 much to the joy of their loyal fans.

On the other hand, various sources have revealed that the newly-promoted German side are having discussions and are in the process of finalising a deal with PAOK for the 30-year-old right-winger.

outfit and now will be able to test his game there.
Furthermore, the Dusseldorf club is also rumoured to sign a defender before the start of the new season which is starting on August 24. Although, the main topic will be the deal concerning Salpingidis, who has scored 9 times in
60 appearances for his national team.
