Forwarding a Text Message on Motorola Rzr V3 - someone please help!?

Hellooo! Basically, I have a Motorola V3, as does my husband, and both of them have broken. (NEVER buy one of these phones, we've had two each now, and neither have lasted longer than 6 months).

If anyone has one, could you please give us directions on how to forward a message? Basically, the screen is black, but I have a message that has just been received that I need to read! If someone can give me step by step instructions on how to forward it (eg, press Menu, down one, press enter, down two press enter etc etc) then I can forward it to another phone to read it!

Hope this makes sense. Please do not reply with 'don't you know how to use your phone' blah blah, YES, I do, it's just broken therefore I can't see what is on the screen!

menu button= middle of the top 3 keys

center button= key surrounded by the arrows

hit the center button to open the message.

press menu button to go to the message menu.

scroll down 3 times

press the center or select button on the upper right

press the send to button; upper right

press the center button to send to a new number

enter number

press the upper right button

press the green send key or upper right key

Ok here goes. If you are on the home screen, press the center key, then press 1(message center), scroll down key, center key, center key again, left home key, scroll key down 3 times, right home key, (now this is where it would get tricky, you would have to send it to a contact so scroll down to a contact you think you could read it from, like your husband's phone I know it would be guessing), then press right home key to send.
