Hey guys. I was wondering is there is a way of forwarding a call from a landline in the U.K. I want to phone in sick to work to go to an all day event that can't be missed. However Asda phone your house again to make sure that you are actually sick (lousy I know) so is there a number or something that I can get my parents to dial to forward the call to my mobile?

  1. you use the following setup commands to switch in and off:

Diverting your calls *code*phone number to divert to #

    Checking your diversions *#code#

    Switching off #code#

    Setup codes for above commands

    21 diverts all calls

61 diverts calls you don’t answer within 15 seconds

67 diverts calls when your phone is engaged

When Call Diversion is used in conjunction with BT Text, your telephone line will need re-registering for BT Text after Call Diversion

Divert all calls and the caller won't get any annoying message warning them that the call is being diverted. Leaving the phone off the hook will only generate a annoying alarm type sound from the phone being 'off hook', an irritating BT feature to advise the subscriber that the phone has been put down properly

  2. *21*mobile number# will forward all calls that call your landline to your mobile. Be warned your mobile network will charge you for all calls recieved so your bill will be higher than normal. Not all phone lines have this active so you may have to call your service provider to get this switched on and it can take a few days for it to be active.
