Fossil Big Tic Watch - setting the correct time on...

Question

This watch has anolog hands on a plain black face. I was always fine with that until it stopped. I had the batteries (2) changed and discovered that there also is a digital display of the minutes. Apparently, one of the batteries was already dead when I received this watch.

After both batteries were replaces it works great BUT I can't set the digital display of the minutes to the correct time. Any ideas?
