  1. Due to the under bite it looks like the skull of a dire wolf.  However the 2nd canine is a bit small.  I have no idea what the size is... that'd make a big difference.

    On 2nd thought, it has to be the skull of a Tasmanian Tiger... since the critter is found on a site refering to Australian animals.  I was not aware that they had an underbite though. Reckon you are never too old to learn something.

  3. It is, without doubt, a H28767.  I'd recognise it anywhere!

  4. Given the Australian location of the museum, the closest skull I found was that of the "Tasmanian Devil."

    My suggestion is you email the museum. Either they or their webmaster would be able to give you the excat name of the skull
