Foster Parenting?

Has anyone Fosterd a child? I am interested ,but I dont know the requirments. I tried looking at childsworld.ca.gov but the site was down. Can you give me the low down?

You can check other states' websites, it's probably similar all over.  We adopted through DHS, of course we fostered until the child was adopted.  Talk to some people who have done it or find some websites - I'm sure there are message boards out there regarding fostering.

Fostering is a very serious thing.  My child caused major problems for his foster parents and in one home was sexually abused by another foster child.  It will turn your life upside down (but it doesn't have to be bad).
