Foster care assetment?

20 yrs ago with two small children hit an all tome low due domestic violence lots n lots of domestic violence and i took an overdose as i saw it as the best way out , because i had children social services were involved my children were placed on register for a short while, i am wishing to foster my grandchild will social services hold this what happened 20yrs ago against me thanks to anyone who can help xx

If you have straightened your life out in the last 20 yrs. they may not.If you are still considered in the high risk catgory though, you won't get custody.
