  1. I think its a finch who flew away from his home and ended up at the road Just take it to the vet then animal shelter but u could keep it when its all good from the vet .............. but its your choice

  2. It looks like it is in the finch family by the beak I think, maybe a sparrow, but I'm not sure.  I had good luck mixing chicken and rice babyfood with chicken first food baby food.  A pet store should have food for hand raising baby birds.  By the look of the beak it is almost ready to eat seeds.  Try millet spray to start.  It's hard to keep things clean when they are that age.  I used lots of tissues and it wasn't too bad.  Just pluck out the dirty ones and keep your hands washed.  Bird p**p is germy.  I live with two sparrows that my daughter found on the arena floor when they were pink.  They are nice pets, but your baby looks old enough to know how to be social with it's own kind.  Is there any chance you can go back where you found it and look for Mom?  Just sit quietly and look for bird activity.  Momma birds don't care if you touched their baby, they will be glad to have it back.

  3. This is a finch.  Is it's right wing hanging lower than the left wing if you look at him from the front?   This is a fledgling and should have been left alone.  His mom was taking care of him.  A day or two and he would have been flying with his family.  You need top take this bird to a wildlife rehabilitator.  Until you find a rehabilitator near you, offer seeds and a small bowl of water in a cage or a box.

  4. try goolgleing it that happend before to me whe took care of it very good but died :( do it fast dont let it die please GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. This bird is a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.   Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  You can watch from afar continually to see if it's parents are tending to it.  If you are too close, they will not come as you would be considered a predator.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own. If for some reason you see NO signs of the parents at all after a couple hours, think about getting the bird to a local wildlife rehab.  Look for a rehab here:
